The S8 is powered by our new XCruise V8 mid-motor, delivering an impressive 85NM of torque. Thanks to its specially developed torque sensor, it precisely detects the force you apply to the pedals and adjusts the support accordingly. For instance, when climbing a hill and applying more muscle power, the motor provides more assistance. This makes uphill starts easier and helps prevent excessive sweating. Additionally, this technology saves up to 30% of battery capacity, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable ride.

Top-Quality Brakes from Magura
The hydraulic disc brakes Magura MT A2 on the front and rear bring the S8 to a safe stop, even with a full load and high weight, thanks to the precise pressure of the Carbotecture brake levers. Designed for maximum maintenance ease, these brakes feature an exceptionally fast pad change and low wear, providing peace of mind for future check-ups and repairs. Even better: The factory-filled Royal Blood mineral oil never needs to be replaced. And if you ever need assistance with your brakes, there are over 4,000 Magura service workshops nationwide.

High Battery Capacity with Side Mounting
You've never gone this far – at least not with an e-bike! The generous 720 Wh/20Ah battery takes you on trips ranging from 60 to 180 kilometers, depending on usage (affected by riding style, weight, and terrain). A particularly practical feature is the side mounting of the lockable battery in the down tube, preventing it from getting stuck in the frame. Insertion and removal are quick and easy.

Seamless Shifting with Shimano Deore
The 10-speed derailleur from Shimano ensures smooth gear transitions. With just one chainring in the front and ten sprockets in the rear, the gear spacing is more balanced, making it easier to select the optimal gear for different situations and enabling precise shifting.
