The SachsenRAD T1 Grand Trunk E-Cargo Bike offers full versatility: it takes you and your children from A to B as a family vehicle and transforms into a spacious freight wonder in just three quick steps. Then it shines when transporting heavy loads like crates of drinks, hardware store items, or the big weekly grocery run for you and the kids.

Transport everything safely and sustainably!

The T1's wooden cargo box is more environmentally friendly than comparable plastic versions. Two comfortably padded benches offer space for up to four small children. The 3-point safety belts are easy to adjust and keep your loved ones protected. An additional brake lock prevents the cargo bike from rolling, making it more stable when your children get in and out. The benches can be quickly folded up to accommodate even bulkier loads. Hidden under one of the benches is a lockable compartment – ideal for transporting or temporarily storing special items securely. Even in wind and rain, you don’t need to worry about the little ones or your goods: two optional attachable bars support the practical rain cover.

Solid Technology Throughout

The 250W brushless rear hub motor accelerates you and the bike up to 25 km/h. A walk-assist function allows you to push the bike with motor support if it becomes too heavy. The battery is located under the rear rack and can be easily pulled out backwards. This saves valuable space in the box and, of course, it’s lockable. The LCD display keeps you informed: speed, battery level, distance, and more. High-quality KENDA brand tires ensure good grip on the road, even on wet asphalt. Shimano provides the reliable 7-speed gear system. The wheels feature double-wall rims, which are especially torsion-resistant and have a very low spoke breakage rate.

Even More Security with Alarm System and Frame Lock

To protect against theft, the T1 Grand Trunk comes equipped with an alarm system. The included remote key allows you to arm or disarm the alarm even from several meters away. If the bike is moved without your knowledge, a siren will sound – ensuring that thieves get everyone's attention. Additional security is provided by the frame lock on the rear wheel, allowing you to quickly lock the bike.

E-Cargo Bike Subsidy through BAFA

This e-cargo bike is eligible for subsidies from the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA)! This means the agency will support you financially – learn more on the BAFA website.
